Praying Hands

A Prayer for Gratefulness and Hope

I wash my hands to declare my innocence.

I come to your altar, O Lord,

singing a song of thanksgiving

and telling of all your wonders.

Psalms 26:6-7

Dear Father God,

I humbly come to you in this moment, knowing who You are and who I am in You. You are an amazing God, and I just want to thank you for all that you have done for me, but firstly for the love you shown on the cross when you died for my sins so that I can have life. You are so worthy of all my praise, worship, and honor. Thank you for never leaving me, even when I tried to run away from you. Thank you for protecting me and healing me from the pain that my sin brought to my life. Thank you for rescuing me from the hands of the enemy and restoring me back to my rightful place. If I haven't seen it yet Lord, I thank You in advance because I know You are going to do it because You are not a man who shall lie. No word will be turned back to You void. I thank You in advance for all the blessings that are to come, and not just the material things but the joy, the peace, the love, and the hope that You are going to bring or increase in my life like only You can. Thank You for Your protection from the enemy and his plans. I wait in You Jesus, full of hope, for my inheritance. I know that what is to come is greater than what was. What is ahead of me is greater than what is behind me and I continue moving forward with the cloud of God hovering over me. You have plans to prosper and not to harm me, to give me hope and a future. You have told me that I have not seen, heard, or even thought of all the amazing things that You have prepared for those who love You, and I love You, God. I believe in Your Power and what You can and will do for me. Thank you in advance. In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen
