A Prayer for Healing

Dear Father God,

I humbly come to you in this moment, knowing who You are and who I am in You. My heart is broken. I am so sad, but I can find comfort in knowing that you are near those who are brokenhearted. I completely submit myself and my heart to you. Heal me God. I pray for a supernatural expedited healing and restoration. I pray that you keep my heart soft towards those who have hurt me. I purpose and choose to forgive and bless them. You remind me that the pain and sadness I feel now doesn't compare to the joy that is to come. Help me to stay focused on you and the things that are ahead of me. I uproot and cancel any seeds that the enemy attempts to plant in my heart from the pain I feel. I let go of rage and bitterness and I replace it with you loving grace and mercy. I cast down all thoughts that are not of you and I meditate on what is true, honorable, pure, right, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. I walk in love and forgiveness because I choose to love and forgive like you, Jesus. I speak your peace God over my circumstances and I trust that all things are working together for my good because I love You and am called according to Your purpose. I rebuke and return all attacks on my appetite, my sleeping pattern, my emotions, my decision making, and my choice of coping and I send it back to the pits of hell! By your stripes, I am healed. You bore my sickness and you carried away my pain. In Jesus' name I pray.
